Duncan
Meet Duncan!
Duncan was a community cat, a free-roamer. He visited a few different houses in his search for food and shelter. As an intact Tom cat, Duncan wandered the neighborhood and crossed busy streets. It’s likely he was hit by a car as one of his feeders noticed something wrong with his mouth and contacted South County Cats. We quickly trapped him and got him in for a neuter and exam. The report from the vet indicated Duncan had a fractured jaw and multiple broken teeth! After his $1000 dental surgery, funded by South County Cats' wonderful supporters, Duncan was made available for adoption. It took a while, but eventually we found the purrfect match for Duncan. He went to his forever home and is now enjoying his well-deserved happily ever after. He even has his own Instagram Page! Duncan's image was also the inspiration for this year's CAToberfest artwork which is featured on the 2021 CAToberfest poster
