Location: Flexible work schedule. Hybrid role with routine in-person commitments in south King County and surrounding areas.
Employment Type: Part-Time Contractor (1099)
About South County Cats
Since 2006 South County Cats (SCC) has been operating as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit volunteer-only organization. We have worked creatively to reduce the number of shelter and rescue intakes, reduce the number of free roaming and homeless cats, and consistently and tirelessly slow the tide of feline overpopulation in South King County and surrounding areas. We do this through accessible spay/neuter programs, foster care, adoption, community partnerships, and education.
As a lean and high-impact organization, SCC operates without a physical shelter, and instead relies on a strong network of volunteers and foster families to provide space for the cats that find themselves in need of temporary shelter with us.
South County Cats’ Founder and Board are now seeking its first salaried Executive Director to help sustain and grow our impact, our efforts, build capacity, and steward SCC into its next chapter.
