Whether you are a first-time guest or one of our regular supporters, we hope you enjoy CAToberfest and go home with something special, whether an auction item, a MarketPlace find, or useful information about your cat or the cats in your community.
Get creative and enter the CAToberfest Ornament Art Contest!
Only $10 entry fee. Entries to be displayed at CAToberfest. Winners to receive fun prizes! Two divisions-ages 12 and under, and ages 13 and up.
Submission Guidelines 1. Pick up your unfinished cat ornament kit from a SCC volunteer.
2. Decorate the ornament. No limitations (must be in good taste).
3. Return your decorated cat ornament to the SCC volunteer or drop off at SCC Adoptions at Petco Covington Saturdays 10 am– 12:30 pm.
4. One entry per person (additional can be created for display only.) Include name and phone number for notification of winner.
5. Entry must be received the day prior to CAToberfest.

From the Heart - New this year, From the Heart items are handmade by South County Cats’ volunteers. All proceeds donated to South County Cats.
Kitty Corner Books - a combination of new books and gently used books about cats. Both adult and children’s books available.
Art Contest - Please vote for your favorite ornament decorated by members of our community. The Viewers’ Choice Award winner will be announced at 2:30.
Raffle - We pride ourselves for having some of the most interesting items included in our White Bow Raffle. Tickets are only $5 each. Winning raffle tickets will be drawn at 2:30. Tickets may be purchased throughout the venue.
MarketPlace - filled with a variety of new and like-new items, ALL (except the t-shirts) are donated by Friends and Volunteers of South County Cats!
This year we have two sections. Our Spay section, closing first, has greenbows and our Neuter section, closing last, has bluebows. The Buy-It-Now option is available for all items. South County Cats has attempted to describe and catalog all items correctly, but neither warrants, represents nor guarantees the accuracy of descriptions, genuineness, and/or estimated item or service value. Note all conditions, restrictions and expiration dates on items and services. Some items must be scheduled at a time mutually agreeable to both parties. Event donors have agreed to fulfill their auction package obligation and South County Cats cannot be held liable for any donor failure to meet such obligation.
New This Year - Volunteer Opportunities:
We always need volunteers to assist with:
- fostering cats and kittens
- trapping feral cats throughout south King County
- feral cat care
- cleaning traps, carriers and shop cages
- driving cats to and from spay/neuter clinics
- helping with outreach events
- working on our fundraising efforts
